This incomplete map shows some of the principal parks of Greater London, and also the river Thames. Click on any coloured region, and information on it will appear in the right hand pane.

The document uses
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics), included inline within an XHTML document.
It is part of an unfinished experiment in showing locations of trees in London.
If you don't see a map above, that is probably because of your browser. This page only works in Mozilla Firefox,
version 1.5. It may be possible to make it work in Internet Explorer (with Adobe SVG Viewer), or in Konqueror on Linux, but it would seem to need differently set up source pages.
There is no zoom facility in the Firefox SVG implementation yet, so the document can only be seen at the current size.
The SVG is enhanced with some scripting to show the park names, and the text. The scripting could probably be made more efficient. The SVG content could be taken out and viewed in Adobe SVG Viewer, but then the scripting may need to be rejigged.
